I want to improve the conditions of those less fortunate, so that they can help themselves; to support educational programs that increase the chances of individual success. I feel obligated to Switzerland and Spain, the countries where I work and live. I am also committed to the Jewish people and the State of Israel. I hope others will join me in these efforts and enjoy the satisfaction of making a difference. The Rich Foundations are non-profit philanthropic institutions registered in Switzerland. The Foundations were established by Marc Rich in close partnership with his ex-wife Denise Rich and his friends Libby and Pincus Green as well as Val and Alec Hackel. For over 20 years more than $135'000'000 were allocated to approximately 4'000 projects and individuals engaged in non-profit work in education, culture, social welfare and healthcare all over the world.
